Akulon® stands for a cathegory of polyamides which are suitable for a variety of general purposes. Polyamide 6 and 66 are characterized by excellent properties that customers around the world tend to involve them on a wide range of applications from automotive, electronics and electrical to furniture and packaging.

Akulon® is available at different grades suitable for injection molding, blow molding and extrusion (including barrier film, stock shapes, convoluted tubes, and mono and multi filament).

If molded, this material shows an excellent balance between easy planning and processing by showing outstanding mechanical properties on a wide temperature range and under different conditions. Akulon sets market standards in terms of extrusion, strength, resilience and easy processing.
